Solar installation rates keep increasing and the adoption of solar power continues to spread across America today.  That may have some of you asking – Should I Install Solar?  What are the Benefits of Solar? Tax credits – In many states in the US there are large tax incentives to install solar greatly reducing the cost and getting you to a positive return more quickly.

Increased property value – Real estate surveys have found that homes equipped with solar energy systems have higher property values and sell more quickly than non-solar homes.

Saving the environment – Switching to solar is a great way to reduce the number of fossil fuels you consume and emissions you produce.

Energy Security – Generators can break, fossil fuels can run out, and utility companies can dissolve. The sun, on the other hand, is not going anywhere anytime soon.

National Security – depending on imported energy sources is a risky proposition by replacing imported energy with solar we reduce the US dependence on foreign partners.
